Membership Management
Updating Your Information
Keep your contact and billing information current to ensure seamless communication and transactions. You can update your details online or visit our Welcome Center for assistance.
Adding or Removing Members
Need to adjust your membership to include or exclude family members? Submit your request online or speak with our Membership Director, Liccet, at liccet@mauiymca.org.
Changing Payment Methods
To update your auto-pay information, complete the online request form. For changes involving checking or savings accounts, please visit the Welcome Center with a voided check.
Membership Suspension Options
Membership Freeze
If you need to pause your membership temporarily, we offer a freeze option for a minimum of 2 months and up to a maximum of 1 year. Scholarship memberships are not eligible. Submit your freeze request online or in person.
Membership Cancellation
Should you decide to cancel your membership, a 30-day written notice is required. You can complete the cancellation request online or at the Welcome Center.
Membership Changes
To change your membership type or update information on file, a 30-day notice is required. Submit your request online or visit us in person.
Teen FIT Pass
For members aged 12–17 who wish to use the cardio and weight room equipment, completion of a FIT Pass appointment and a signed waiver by a legal guardian are required. Schedule your appointment online.
Code of Conduct
We expect all members to uphold our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Please conduct yourself in a manner that is cooperative, courteous, and respectful to others. Failure to adhere to our code of conduct may result in suspension or termination of membership.
Facility Policies

Check-In Process: Members must scan their membership cards at the Welcome Center upon arrival. Replacement cards are available for a $3.00 fee.

Nationwide Membership: As participants in the Nationwide Membership Program, you have access to YMCAs across the country. Please note that membership at the Maui Family YMCA is non-transferable to another YMCA.

Refund Policy: Membership fees are non-refundable unless under extenuating circumstances. Contact our Membership Director for more information.

Returned Payments: Members are responsible for any debts not honored by their financial institutions, including a $10 service charge imposed by the YMCA.
Financial Assistance
We believe everyone deserves access to the Y. Financial assistance is available through our Annual Support Campaign and the Maui United Way. Apply online and provide proof of income. Processing time is approximately 2–3 weeks.
